Some of the General Terms and Conditions

EACH PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Double-occupancy accommodations or cabin with private or shared bath, diving, parties and meals as indicated. Single supplements available on request. International airfare is not included unless otherwise noted.

SOLO TRAVELERS :
Paying the single supplement is usually optional. Undersea will match you with a roommate if one is available. If you wish to guarantee your own room, you may pay the additional single supplement.

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT POLICIES:
A deposit is required to reserve your spot. The balance is due no later than 75 days prior to the first day of the trip. Deposits and payment plans on liveaboard trips vary. See the specific trip page for more information.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
The deposit and payment refund policies differ by trip. UnderseaX suggests purchasing trip insurance, and DAN evacuation insurance in case of diving - related accidents.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE:
Unless specified, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, dive rental gear, gratuities, meals, trip insurance, and airfare are not included in the package price.

TRIP CANCELLATION:
You can book your international airfare with confidence as soon as your reservation is confirmed with your paid deposit and returned application and waiver. No minimum number of divers is normally required to guarantee departure. Undersea Expeditions does reserve the right to send a trip unescorted if minimum numbers are not met. Note also that in an occasional instance a liveaboard charter may not totally fill, and our group may share the boat with a gay-friendly people not from our group.

In case your plans change, we strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS:
Guests are responsible for airline reservations. Undersea has access to bulk and wholesale airfares for many destinations and will book your ticket for you at your request.

SMOKING:
Restricted to certain areas on the liveaboards and sometimes prohibited on day boats.

LIABILITY WAIVER:
Guests are required to sign a standard liability waiver and any waivers required by the dive operators.

DIVER CONDUCT:
Behaviors that the tour leaders deem inappropriate for group camaraderie may result in a guest being asked to leave the trip, banned from diving, or not allowed participation on future Undersea Expeditions. This includes unsafe diving practices!

CHANGE IN ITINERARY:
Unforeseen conditions may require a change in liveaboard itineraries or dive sites.

GAY & LESBIAN COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Undersea Expeditions supports the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and Lambda Legal Defense & Education Fund.

HOW TO BOOK A TRIP:
Call or e-mail Undersea Expeditions about availability for a specific trip. We will then send you an application that you will need to return, along with a check for your deposit, within 10 days. No reservation is confirmed until we have received the signed Undersea Expeditions application and waiver.
