Yap is well known as the world's leading destination for diving with manta rays, and it is also home to a fascinating and intact Micronesian culture. Many of the local people still dress in their traditional manner day to day, and the unique discs of stone money are found along the footpaths connecting villages.
This trip is custom designed as a complement to our New Year's Palau adventure (www.UnderseaX.com/agent/palau.html). As a bonus, participants in the Yap adventure receive an extra day of diving and hotel night in Palau.
