Island of Utila, Honduras:
Caribbean on a Budget!

For Men Only

UnderseaX Honduras Divers

March 20 - 27, 2010

Standard Room $749
Standard Cabin $899

Per person, double occupancy, including 3 dives/day, breakfast and dinner!

Perfect for younger and new divers, guys on a budget or those who just want to "test the waters" on one of our group trips, the Mango Inn welcomes our all-male group of gay scuba divers. This trip is an amazing value with three dives a day, air-conditioned accommodations with private bath, and breakfast and dinner included.

Casual with charming touches, the Mango Inn generally caters to a younger, European crowd. Enjoy pizza from the only brick oven in town and other specialties of the Italian chef. Evenings and after diving, you'll mix and mingle with the other guys around the new pool and hot tub on the resort grounds.

The Inn is the ideal size for a group of about 30 divers and we plan to have it entirely to ourselves. Located in town just steps from bars and nightlife, it's about a 15 minute walk to the dive shop each morning.

We've scheduled this vacation for whale shark season, however, sightings can't be guaranteed. We'll certainly look at every opportunity between dives and if we spot a whale shark, we'll slip into the water to try to snorkel with it. Come for the fun, easy diving, known for sponges, coral and exciting walls, and consider it a major bonus if we do see a whale shark!

Experience diving with a friendly and fun group of men. It's easy to meet a new dive buddy at our welcome cocktail party, or bring a friend. We are happy to match you with a roommate if you are traveling solo, and limited single supplements are also available if you prefer your own room.

Our Package Includes:

  • 7 nights at the Mango Inn (double occupancy)
  • 6 days of 3-one tank boat dives (2 morning dives and 1 afternoon dive) including a night dive one night
  • Breakfast (including coffee and juice) and dinner daily (includes appetizer, main course dessert and one nonalcoholic beverage)
  • Multiple attempts to snorkel with whale sharks (no guarantees!)
  • Transfers to/from Utila Airport
  • Welcome cocktail

Excluded:
Airfare to Utila, $30 cash airport departure tax, daily lunch, rental equipment, Nitrox if desired ($245 for the week, MUST be requested and paid in advance), $3 daily reef fee per day of diving, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, tips and items of a personal nature.

Getting there :
It's simplest to fly to Roatan (RTB), from where we'll arrange a charter flight for $115 each way. There are non-stop flights from the U.S. to Roatan on several airlines, including Continental, Delta and TACA.

You can also fly to La Ceiba on a Central American airline such as TACA and take a local flight or ferry from there, or to San Pedro Sula on American.

Keep in mind, flights can generally be booked 330 days prior to departure.

Deposit:
A $300 deposit is due upon booking. Balance due 90 days prior to departure. Payment in full must be received by December 20 to guarantee these rates.

Limited Single Supplements of just $149 in Standard Room - book early!

Non-divers rooming with a diver: deduct $300.

You can learn to dive on this vacation or complete your
Advanced Open Water training for just $155 extra.
