You'll feel like you've stepped onto the set of South Pacific when you arrive on Tahiti's neighboring island of Moorea. Jagged emerald peaks and crystal clear turquoise waters surround the beautiful Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa.
Nestled in a coconut grove on the beach between Cook's Bay and Oponohu Bay, this luxurious full service hotel offers air-conditioned private bungalows, onsite restaurants and bars, including one sunken into the beachside pool, and the Mandara full-service spa.
We'll dive two tanks daily with TOPdive Moorea (www.topdive.com), located right at the hotel. They offer Nitrox at no additional cost to those divers who are certified to use it. It will be summer in Tahiti, so expect 84F (29 C) water and a few light showers.
Experience fantastic dive sites like the spectacular Oponohu's Canyons, Tiki, famous for sharks, and the stunning (and deep!) Jardin des Roses, with huge coral "roses". Don't worry, sharks in French Polynesia are not aggressive, and all skill levels of divers can be accommodated.
This is a perfect trip for couples or friends where one dives and the other doesn't. Easy lagoon snorkels and introductory dives are available too!
