Explore the exotic islands of Indonesia’s Komodo National Park on our gay and lesbian charter of Worldwide Dive and Sail's newest liveaboard, Indo Siren!
Starting point for this expedition is the enchanting island of Bali. From there you take a scenic flight to Bima and depart for Komodo National Park to dive the most biologically diverse waters on the planet. Everything from mantas to macro life such as pygmy seahorses can be found here. On the islands inside the park, you can seek out the famous dragons in the wild as well as view and learn about them at the park’s visitor’s center.
To maximize your time in the National Park, you'll board the ship in Bima, on the island of Sumbawa. This is a very scenic flight from Bali over Lombok on Indonesia’s domestic airline, Merpati. This domestic flight is arranged by the boat and US $250 will be added to your final balance.
A six-day land tour of Bali will be offered before the liveaboard.
Our Package Includes:
- 10 nights aboard the Indo Siren in air-conditioned double occupancy cabins with private bath
- All meals and between meal snacks
- Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including soft drinks
- Up to 4 dives a day, conditions permitting
- Free Nitrox for those divers certified to use it
- Tanks, weights and weight belt
Not Included:
Dive gear rental, international flights to Denpasar, Bali (DPS), accommodation the night prior to departure (July 27, included in our Bali Land Tour) and on the return August 7, domestic flight to/from Bima (boat will arrange for you at a cost of $250), alcoholic beverages, international departure tax ($25), National Park fee of $90, any fuel surcharge (none currently in effect), tips, and items of a personal nature.
Flights:
Many international carriers serve Denpasar, Bali (DPS), including Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. Call us for assistance with flights and remember that due to the International Date Line flights from North America depart July 25th to arrive on July 27th, the day before the next morning's departing flight to Bima to board the vessel.
If you plan to join our Bali land tour, please arrive on July 22.
Plan to depart Bali on August 8 or later. Our domestic flight from Bima back to Bali doesn't return unti late afternoon on August 7, and you'll need one night in a hotel. We are happy to arrange that for you and bill it to your final balance.
Deposit:
$700 deposit to hold space. Second payment of $1000 due at nine months. Third payment of $1000 due at 180 days. Balance due 120 days prior to departure.
