Advanced Tubbataha Liveaboard Expedition:
April 24 - May 1

Atlantis Scuba Resort Dumaguete Philippines Beach + Dive Boat

If you have an interest in coral reefs and their ecology, you probably have heard about the "Coral Triangle". This area of the Indo-Pacific is home to the greatest biodiversity of fish, coral and other marine life on the entire planet, and the Philippines comprise the upper vertex of the triangle.

An archipelago of 7,107 islands, the Philippines are a beautiful, gay-friendly destination and a remarkable value. We have chosen two outstanding locations to introduce you to this coral paradise, the land-based resort of Atlantis Dumaguete and our optional advanced excursion to the remote UNESCO World Heritage site of the Tubbataha Reefs.

Explore the waters of the Philippines with 16 or more gay divers at Atlantis Dumaguete Resort, a PADI Five Star CDC facility and one of Asia's top dive resorts. Atlantis Dumaguete enjoys easy access to Apo Island, one of the Philippines most renowned dive sites. With up to five boat dives scheduled each day, it's easy to get your fill of nitrogen, so bring a dive computer or rent one there. This is a great opportunity to get Advanced Open Water or Nitrox training. Air-conditioned accommodations, five boat dives a day (including night dives), and breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

Advanced divers who are comfortable in strong currents, ocean swells and remote locations can also join us for liveaboard diving to Tubbataha Reefs April 24-May 1, 2021.

Come experience diving the magic of diving in the Coral Triangle with a friendly and fun group of gay divers. We are happy to match you with a roommate if you travel solo, or ask us about single supplements if you prefer your own room. It's easy to find a dive buddy on our private dive boat.

Our Package Includes:

  • 7 nights in a deluxe room at Atlantis Resort Dumaguete (double occupancy)
  • Unlimited scheduled local boat dives at 9 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm
(night dives are included every day, including mandarin fish night dives)
  • On all-day diving excursion to Apo Island (additional days available)
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily
  • Complimentary coffee, tea and filtered water 6 am - 6 pm
  • Welcome mixer with the other LGBT divers
  • Complimentary internet access
  • Roundtrip domestic airfare between Manila and Dumaguete with shuttle service between Dumaguete airport and the resort will be added for $199 per person to your final balance.

Not Included:

International airfare to Manila, Marine Park Fees (about $150/week), minor airport departure taxes (currently PhP 200 for domestic departures from Manila, PhP 30 from Dumaguete, and PhP 750 for international departures), rental equipment, other alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, tips and items of a personal nature.

Getting there:

Fly directly to Manila (MNL), arriving before noon on April 17 on any flight that's convenient for you. We're happy to suggest hotels in Manila for early arrivals.

Domestic flights with extra luggage allowance for scuba gear between Manila and Dumaguete and return will be added to your balance for $199 per person, including transfers to the resort and assistance at the Manila airport.

Plan to return home or travel onward on April 24 on any flight after 2 pm (or on the evening of May 1 or later if you are staying for our Tubbataha liveaboard).

There are non-stop flights from the U.S. to Manila on Philippines Airlines and connecting service on many other airlines.

We can also arrange a pre-Dumaguete stay on Malapascua to dive with thresher sharks, accessible with international flights to Cebu City. Ask us for details!
